Support CityLink Bus

The many thousands of people living in Karalee, Karana Downs, Mount Crosby and Anstead do not currently have a Translink public transport service.
As such they would be one of the largest community’s in South East Queensland not to receive a Government supported bus.
Over the past twelve months a fully private service, CityLink, has helped hundreds of local residents avoid using their cars on Moggill Road.
The CityLink services runs from Ipswich via Karalee, Karana Downs/Mt Crosby and Anstead to the Indooroopilly Railway station.
Tragically the refusal of the State Government to give Translink support to this service means that at the end of June it will close and this area will have no public transport whatsoever.
This will leave local residents with no transport option at all to using private cars.
The local community is as entitled as any other in South East Queensland to a Translink service. Public transport will enable people to do the right thing and remove cars from our overly congested roads.
