Kenmore Bypass Study – Stage 2 complete

Attention: open in a new window. PDFPrintE-mail

The Department of Main Roads has completed the second stage of their Kenmore Bypass Planning Study  This stage saw community consultations on a number of alternative Kenmore Bypass proposals.

Around 1,000 feedback submissions were received.  Additionally, around 1,000 people presented to their public displays.

The community consultation and submissions are now being analysed and where possible incorporated in formulation of a preferred option.

One of the key issues under consideration is the impact of severing the connection over Gem Road.

The environmental approvals report is currently being formulated and will later be posted on the Main Roads website with opportunity for the community to comment.

The preferred option will be presented to the community for comment later in 2009.
