Government fails to meet own deadline on Kenmore Bypass Study

I was given assurances by the Government that their response to the Kenmore Bypass Study’s preferred option would be announced by the end of May.  The Government has failed to meet their own deadline.  Meanwhile traffic conditions continue to be appalling in our area.  Whilst every other portion of Brisbane has benefited from major infrastructure in public transport and roads our area has continued to be ignored. 

I have again written to the Minister urging that the Government release their response.  I will also be looking at the Government’s budget on Tuesday 8th June.
