Petrol queues block traffic

Following the mass closure of petrol stations in our area and somewhat bizarre local fuel retailing practices, we have seen traffic queue back on to Moggill Road from people buying discounted petrol on certain days of the week.
Although it causes us maximum disruption during peak times when Moggill Road is busy, it often continues until very late at night. I understand from talking to local police that it is not permitted to interrupt traffic to get into a site.
Police have the power to move motorists on. I also fully understand the frustration of local motorists who have little choice in petrol retailing and frequently spend time waiting for pump access on driveways.
