An overwhelming majority of respondents felt it should be a high priority 73.5% to 26.1% who did not.
The State Government has determined that the Ipswich/Springfield area is SEQ’s major growth area with 250,000 new residents planned along with the SEQ Regional Plans release of massive tracts of land in the area for subdivision.
It amazes me that even in the State Government’s 20 year SEQ Infrastructure Plan there is no major upgrade to the Western Freeway.
The Western Freeway is the major road link from the western corridor growth area to Brisbane. Surely we have learnt that planning the infrastructure should come BEFORE the release of land for development.
