MCCG Environmental Photography

Attention: open in a new window. PDFPrintE-mail

Moggill Creek Catchment Group once again held their highly successful photographic competition.

The photos submitted were of a very high standard. Many photos captured a wonderful perspective on our local environment.  Anyone who saw the display at Kenmore Village would be aware the judges had the unenviable task of selecting winners from all categories.

This year saw an overall increase in the number of entries but in particular, over 50 entries from school students. It is fabulous to see young children taking a keen interest in photography.

I had the pleasure of presenting an award in the junior category of the competition.

Congratulations to the winners in all categories.

It was great to see so many people in attendance for the awards I look forward to being part of it again next year.

The MCCG do a wonderful job looking after our area and restoring the natural environment of its catchment on both public and private land.  Annual Membership is just $15 per person and your support is important to enable this volunteer action community group to continue its great work and service to our local community.
