Kenmore Electricity Upgrade - Stage 2 Commencing

Energex will shortly be commencing works on Stage 2 of the Kenmore network upgrade. Stage 2 will involve the installation of new underground cables along the southern side of Moggill Road into Kenmore Road and the eastern side of Gem Road. 

The new power cables will be housed within new and existing conduits that will be accessed via work pits. 

Some inconvenience may be experienced during the works such as:- 

Noise

Changed traffic conditions

Trenching

Heavy vehicle movement 

Energex advises that the project, due to be completed by March 2012 will improve the safety and reliability of power supply to homes and businesses in Kenmore and surrounding suburbs and increase capacity to cater to continued growth and development in the area.
