Bus Service Response

The State Minister for Transport has responded to my call to the State Government to support the City Link Bus Service that runs from Ipswich, Karalee and Karana Downs and on to Indooroopilly Railway Station.

To read the Minister’s reply please click here

I do not consider this reply is acceptable.

The Karana Downs area in particular is a residential area not a low density and semi-rural residential area as indicated by the Minister.

Three new sets of lights have commenced operation on Moggill Road at the intersections of Pullenvale Road, Rafting Ground Road and Kilkivan Avenue.

There is no doubt these lights were needed for both the safety of the intersections and for traffic turning right onto Moggill Road found it almost impossible at some times of the day.
